QUOTE OF THE DAY : "All I ask of life is a constant and exaggerated sense of my own importance." - Unknown

SONG OF THE DAY : Rooney - Blue Side

LINK OF THE DAY : Chappelle's Show

O, beware, my lord, of jealousy!
It is the green-eyed monster which doth mock
The meat it feeds on.

I get no respect... No respect.... Nor do I no what the hell is going on.

So I'm chilling today. It's my week off. I'm sitting on my bed watching tv... Well the show I was watching was just so exciting that I dozed off. When I wake up what's the first thing I see? A really creepy bald guy talking about insurance on some commercial... Just staring at me with those dead eyes!

I actually said "Waaaahhhhh!" and rushed to turn off the television. Hell if I can remember what the ad was for... But if you see it you'll know what I'm talking about.

My Grandmother arrived from BC on Monday. Always fun when she visits, though this house was not designed to have 4 people in it at all times.

How about that gay marriage thing in the states? I say who cares!? Marriage... Civil union... It's the same thing. I just find it funny that people are against it if it's marriage and for it if it's a civil union. We all know what a sacred institution marriage is these days.

It's the same thing. I don't have a problem with it, but of course the religious right and Captain NucYAler (AKA Dubya) want to ban it outright. They actually want to change the U.S. constitution, and make it biased against gays. LAND OF THE FREE ! ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL. Bloody hypocrite's.

I read a quote from some super right wing bastard in the U.S. He said that if they grant homosexuals the right to marry one another, they would be granting a minority special rights. When in fact they'd merely be granting a minority the same rights as everyone else. If anything it's heterosexuals that have the special rights.

So go ahead Dubya... Ban it. And continue the trend of making the U.S. into an even more unjust and predjudiced place.
The gay people will just come to Canada... Or the Netherlands.

Marriage is about property anyways. It's always been about property, but then someone just threw in all that love crap... And screwed it up! Man, woman, man, woman... If we're all supposedly equal ... What does it matter if a man and a woman, a man and a man, or a woman and a woman engage in some sort of union. If a politician drags in the traditional view of marriage as laid down in the bible ... Then he's dragging his own religious bias into politics, thusly mixing church and state. Bad, very bad. Many people are against gay marriage... Many people are for it. But name one person who wants a theocracy in the US government. Not I.

So I say, let the gays and lesbians do what they want. It's none of my concern, but obviously it would make them happy. And really who is it going to hurt? Only the stupid homophobes and religious nuts. And quit mixing church and state you Christian Right bastards !

That's one thing that pisses me off, is that I can't say I'm a conservative without someone thinking I'm some ultra right wing asshole, goes to Church every Sunday and is against all forms of social evolution.

For the last time! I'm socially moderate, fiscally conservative! YARRRRRRRG !

I think I'm going to support Tony Clement for the Conservative leadership. Steven Harper is too right wing for me, and Belinda Stronarch is just some chick with money.

Take a listen to this. Johnny and I as guests on Craig's radio show.
