George W. Bush tried to duck out of press conference early while in China this Asia this weekend... Only problem was the doors out of the room were locked, and Bush made an ass of himself. Well done Dubya. See a video of this hilarity here.

Bush was caught by reporters with his hands in the proverbial mustard jar this week in China.

It's that time of year again: Winter!

There was a point a few weeks ago when I didn't want to believe it was coming. The last vestiges of Autumn were hanging on for dear life, cut short by the icy winds and falling like so many red and yellow leaves. Sadly, we here in Canada know that we are now in for about 5 months of shovelling driveways and sub-zero temperatures... Maybe global warming isn't all bad! Go away winter, don't make me come up there!

I really need to start updating this site on a more than monthly basis. However, I've been very busy with school and I have the good marks to prove it.

Apparently I turned 22 last week. Gifts, cards, alcohol, Medieval Times and the ever present spectre of death should have all been hints. Anyways, it was a great time on Saturday evening. Went to Medieval Times with the family (BOO Red Knight!) and then on to a few bars with about a dozen friends. The always entertaining Chris recapped the evening on his livejournal.

If anyone reading this cares about politics, you probably watched CBC's documentary The Secret Mulroney Tapes last night. Documenting years of private conversations between Prime Minister Brian Mulroney and journalist Peter C. Newman, its a fascinating look into the tenure of the most successful Conservative Canadian Prime Minister of the 20th century. Bottom line though, Peter C. Newman is a douchebag for betraying the trust of a friend like that, the conversations were meant to be off the record and are quite colourful at times. I also noticed, as Stephen Taylor of Blogging Tories pointed out that the documentary painted Mulroney in a somewhat favourable light, unusual because of the left leaning nature of the CBC. However, on the eve of a federal election their motives are suspect.

In other news I've discovered quite possibly the most effective means of procrastination on the internet... And no I'm not talking about pornography.
I am referring to TETRIS!


Time well wasted.

As my friend Adam said "How very 1992 of you.", I guess I missed the Tetris boat back in the day. If you can beat my record of Level 13 and 193 lines I will shake your hand AND give you a dollar.

And I believe I am spent.
